The best job I ever held was actually my first job at a sandwich shop near my home when I was a teenager. I loved it because it was such a great atmosphere, and my managers were amazing people. It was a very relaxed job, but we were always able to be productive. Additionally, several of my friends worked with me so we would have a lot of fun while we were making and serving sandwiches. Because the shop was located close to my school, a lot of my friends would also stop in for a meal.

Not only did I have phenomenal co-workers, but we were also allowed to eat great food when we were on break. I was eventually able to try everything on the menu at least once. This not only made me happier, but I was able to give customers good recommendations about the food. The owners of the sandwich shop paid us well, and there was usually no problem switching shifts or requesting a day of work off if something came up. Although I eventually left, I was never able to find a job during my teenage years quite like that one.
