I am slowly moving into baking my own bread. Baking is not something that comes easily to me. There’s a precision required that is not part of my basic personality. However, there is something reassuring about bread baking. You can almost feel the generations that came before you as they baked their family’s daily bread. As I tried different kinds of breads I realized that several of the recipes I wanted to attempt recommended a round bread pan. So I found a round clay bread pan that was perfect for the job
I’m not ashamed to admit that a round bread pan was a new concept for me. Round baking pans for cake and such, sure. But round bread? I had to try it. I had already figured out that clay bread pans were the best, because the way they conduct heat is amazing, and it makes for a more even bake. This is a solid clay pan, and a good size for a round bread pan. It’s also sturdy without being so heavy that if I dropped I would risk hurting my foot or my kitchen floor. I truly think owning quality pizza and bread pans can help everyone master the fine art of bread making!
