Greenhouses when you are Out of Room

One of the hardest things to deal with is when you want to garden and have a very small yard or no yard at all. Most of us end up doing everything in pots and containers, which can be great fun and very beautiful. However, sometimes you just want to grow more than you can in a container and without a way to do that you just make do. But there is another way and they are called mini greenhouses. Depending on who you talk to these small greenhouses can be no bigger than a small raised bed up to about 6 x 10 or 8 x 12 feet. Some of them are no more than a cover for your plants while others look act and feel like regular greenhouses.

Another alternative is using cold frames in conjunction with raised beds or in ground planting beds. A cold frame uses the same materials that greenhouses are made from and form a housing that can be vented to fit over what you want to grow. Cold frames are great as season extenders in the fall and seed starters in the spring. Either way you look at it, both of these great products are great in space limitation situations.
